Ravensworth Ladies Section

Welcome to the Ravensworth Ladies Section web page.

The Women’s Section of Ravensworth Golf Club is very active and is made up of women of all ages, abilities and handicap levels. We are committed to increasing the participation of women and girls in golf and always offer them a warm welcome.

We meet regularly throughout the year to both play golf and socialise and most importantly to have fun. In the offseason women meet socially in the clubhouse on two days of the week with ‘drop ins’ usually on Monday and Friday afternoons for refreshments and a good laugh. The women’s section provides opportunities for all levels of players.

We have a team which plays in the Sivewright Northern League and several women play in the many Open competitions across the region.

We have both 18 hole and 9 hole club competitions played on Sundays, Mondays and Fridays.

England Golf ‘Women on Par’

In 2025 we held a very successful England Golf ‘Women on Par’ course which brough together ladies new to golf for fun interactive sessions on the practice areas, course and in the clubhouse.
his lead to special membership being created for the new golfers to continue their journey as club members and to progress their golfing skills and knowledge.
