Hello Everyone,

Welcome to a new page on our website called the Secretary's Space.

I would just like to wish everyone the very best of luck for the coming season, especially our newly installed Club Captain, Steve Longstaff, and his Vice Captain, Glen Hodges. I am sure we will go from strength to strength in both the North Durham and Newcastle and District Golf Leagues, after the strong challenge bravely fought last season by all of the team players led by Immediate Past Captain, Brian Elliott. I would also like to Congratulate Brian and Judith and of course their family for the excellent work of the last year. Well done to all of you.

I have just watched the team tee off in the first league match of the season against          Ponteland G.C. and I must say they all looked like proper golfers in their new team colours. Thanks to Darren and Gary and all at N.C.R. our team sponsors this year.      The kit looks very good on all of the players and officials....(I'll give you my sizes later Darren...I don't wish to publicise them....and its Hon. Secretary 2010 on the badge!)
