Here at Ravensworth Golf Club we host a number of golf and non golf events. Here is a flavour of what to expect in 2010 and who to contact.

2010 Annual General Meeting.    Dates being finalised. 

The Ravensworth Bowl.  Sunday 20th June 2010

This is our flagship open competition and is for the very best golfers to play our challenging course over two rounds of golf on the same day.

This is a scratch competition and we invite all low handicap golfers to come along and compete against some of the finest amateur golfers around. 

The Ravensworth Bowl was originally a 36 hole Pro-Am first held in 1963 and attracted star fields of professionals and amateurs including Booby Locke, Tommy Horton, Brian Barnes, Peter Butler, Syd Scott, Ralph Moffitt, Gordon Clark, Ronnie Shade and Hedley Muscroft amongst many others.

In 1971, the event changed its status to a 36 hole Amateur Scratch tournament with the trophy donated by Davidsons the Jewellers. The inaugural winner was Ian Mosey from Denton Golf Club.

The current holder of the Ravensworth Bowl is Ravensworth's own Adam Reay who will be looking to successfully defend his trophy in 2010.
