Dear Member’s and Guests of Ravensworth,
I would like to start by saying what a great honour it is for me to be Captain of this fantastic golf club for 2011.
I consider our club to be one of the finest tests of golf in the area and probably amongst the friendliest and most welcoming clubs that you are ever likely to find.
No doubt 2011 will be challenging to all our golfers, whether just starting out or a well established team player. I sincerely hope that whatever the standard, we all continue to enjoy the game and play it in the spirit that was intended.
Hopefully I will get to play with as many members as possible or maybe just enjoy a drink and a chat at some of our social occasions at the 19th hole.
